a tall case clock just came in and i have a question? Certain areas are crazing, is there something out there that would move the finish so i dont have to strip the case?

Yes, there is something out there. There is, also, someone out there. Your issue depends on, or may depend on several things. How bad is the crazing.... What finish is presently on the piece.... to name a few. It is likely impossible to give you specific instructions to fix your issues, if we don't know all the specific facts. Even if we did know, it may still be problematic to give you specifics for a perfect repair.

Rather than trying to explain or type additional comments, read this (below) article. There are other such online sources, as well. Not all crazing issues are the same, to give one "fix" or one set of "fixes".
