Damaged Finish on Ethan Allen Dining Room Table Top

Postby LarryJ » Sat Mar 09, 2013 1:25 pm

OK, we accidentally spilled some air freshner oil on the table top and it sat for a few hours unoticed.

The result is a spot approx 4x4 that looks to have taken off several layers of finish to the point that it is indented.

I don't want to touch it without some advice.

Thoughts?

The entire surface needs to be stripped and re-finished, It's difficult to repair ann area that size and have it match. I'd try a local pro
