Mid to late sixties double cab phonograph

Hello forum,
This is my first time here and first time attempting any wood project.
I have read the crash course on stripping and cleaning.

I am planning on stripping and re-staining a double cabinet record player
from the sixties.
Tube circuitry, very nice working.

I haven't decided on stain color or texture yet and hoped there would be some kind folks with a few tips to get me started in the right direction.

In the meantime, I will continue to read through the topics for as long as my eyes permit.
