New to this. How do I refinish old farmhouse table?
Hi there! I am not even sure where I should start. I bought an antique farmhouse table that is in rough shape but has so much character. I have no idea what kind of wood it is. The previous owner apparently went to town on it with a pressure washer. It looks very dry. I would like for it to coordinate (not necessarily match) with our bamboo floors and our tv hutch. What are the steps I need to take to give this baby new life? Sand, stain, moisturize/seal? In the photo where I am pointing, I am pointing at two areas where I put tongue oil/citri solvent mix. I have included a photo of our hutch and bamboo flooring that I would like to coordinate with. Thank you in advance for any help!
